About Shaina E

Shaina Evoniuk is an electric and acoustic violinist, aerial violinist, composer, band leader, known for her contagious energy and virtuosic force. Shaina earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and currently leads the Bay Area's own Jazz Mafia with her husband Adam Theis.

Recent recording credits include violin on Leon Bridges' 2019 GRAMMY-winning song Bet Aint Worth The Hand, Lizzo's 2020 GRAMMY-nominated album, Cuz I Love You, and Alphabet Rocker's 2020 GRAMMY-nominated album, The Love.

Highlights of her performance career include appearances at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Super Bowl XLIX, Montreal Jazz Festival, Playboy Jazz Festival, Beijing's Spring Festival, and a collaboration with dancers Lil Buck & Jon Boogz for an audience of 10,000 people at Despertares in Guadalajara Mexico in July 2019.

Artist Statement

My career is built on something I feel deeply passionate about: bringing people together to connect and experience art. Unfortunately we aren't able to do that right now, so all of my work has dried up entirely. So I have new offerings! Im available for virtual violin and music lessons, custom string writing, arranging and recording, & yoga classes (both group and private). Check out my free Yoga for Musicians class every Monday at 10am streamed from my socials.
