About Mica Sigourney

Mica Sigourney (also known as VivvyAnne ForeverMORE) is an artist focused on performance, social art and community building. My works manifest as traditional stage performances or participatory events and happenings which show in theaters, nightclubs, drag bars, museums and public places such as parks, public transport, and store fronts. At my events, I create celebratory spaces where participants have the potential to become activators of the space and instigators of moments.

In simple terms I make shows: drag shows, dance shows, art shows. I also throw parties. I study choreography and create collaborative platforms for experimentation in the performance field. I'm obsessed with live performance, performance theory and dramaturgy. Mostly I'm here for shits and giggles, big jokes and little ones.

The Covid-19 closures have forced cancellations of some stage and touring works, as well as drag shows I regularly produce. My only square job is bartending at the Stud Bar where I am a member of the Stud Collective. The Stud is closed, because of Shelter in Place. I've been producing a weekly drag online show for the Stud to continue to bring performance to our community while also creating platforms for other performers.
